Scattered, But Not Forgotten | James | Pastor Seth

Life has a way of spreading us thin. Trials, uncertainty, disappointment, and circumstances beyond our control can leave us wondering, "Where is God?" But James reminds us that being scattered does not mean being forgotten.

In James 1:1–18, we meet James, the brother of Jesus, who identifies himself simply as a servant of Christ. Writing to believers scattered throughout the world, James speaks directly to what it means to follow Jesus in the middle of difficulty. He challenges us to see trials not simply as obstacles to endure, but as opportunities for God to develop a deeper faith within us.

James also reminds us that God is not the author of temptation, nor is He distant from our struggles. Every good and perfect gift comes from Him, and His character remains steadfast even when our circumstances do not.

You may feel scattered, but you are not forgotten. Your trials are not wasted. Your faith is not unseen. God has not left you.
